Brief History and Role
Founded in 1958, CNEI is the oldest French grouping of independent and judicial valuers specialised in real estate and construction.
The Association represents more than 200 independent valuers of metropolitan France and oversees departments and territories (DOM TOM) with the objective of promoting the valuation profession and ensuring the flow of knowledge between its members.

Organisation
The organs of the association are represented by: the president, two vice-presidents, the Executive Committee composed of the secretary general and his deputy, the treasurer, the managing agent (syndic) and his deputy and the Board of Directors (8 members).
The association has regional delegations in metropolitan France and in the DOM TOM.

Other
The CNEI is one of the signatories of the 'Charte de l'Expertise en Evaluation Immobilière' (national charter of real estate valuation) and member of the 'Comité d'Application de la Charte', gathering the most important professional associations of valuers of France.
