Brief History and Role
ISIVI represents engineers, architects, surveyors and real estate professionals who are active in the property valuation field in Italy. Since 2000, ISIVI has been focused on the harmonization of valuation standards and the promotion of certified competence of valuers, through training and cooperation with certifying bodies across the country. ISIVI is strongly influenced by international best practices in this field and is a long-standing principal member of TEGOVA as well as FIABCI, while also collaborating with the Milan Chamber of Commerce and the Politecnico of Milan on all issues related to valuer qualifications, standards, technology and data which can enrich the valuation profession.
Principal Activities
ISIVI’s main activities are the organization of training opportunities for its members as well as outside professionals, creating and promoting webinars, conferences and roundtables on industry-relevant topics, and promoting and preparing for the REV Programme adoption in Italy, working in close collaboration with certification bodies such as Cepas (Bureau Veritas), the leading organization in Italy for valuer certification.
Organisation
The association is governed by the General Assembly, the Board of Directors, the Scientific Committee, the Secretary General and the President.

ISIVI members are among the best national valuers, comply with strict code of ethics and are personally engaged in continuous professional development.

Other
ISIVI plays an important role as an Italian valuation policy maker thanks to its diverse group of members and international vocation, where no single industry interest prevails over a general interest in elevating the valuation profession.
