Brief History and Role
The Association of Independent Valuers (AIV) was established in 2018 with primary goals being: introduction of European and international standards, education and training for the professional valuers, The Association also organises professional training and seminars of candidates for certified valuer, in accordance with the Law for valuation. At the moment the association has 20 individual qualified valuers.
Principal Activities
- promoting and advancing the profession of valuers by undertaking a range of activities such as participation in conferences, scientific bodies, seminars etc:
- ongoing training for valuers;
- determining and advancing professional standards and best practices
- collaboration with similar international organisations AS OLICY
Principal Areas of Policy
- Applying the European and international standards for valuation in Macedonia
- Applying a code of ethics of valuers
- Promotion and advancing the profession of valuers
- Upgrading the quality of valuations in Macedonia
