Two Canadian Universities become TEGoVA Recognised Academic Institutions in North America
TEGoVA Chairman awarded Two Canadian Universities
On 9 June in Winnipeg, TEGoVA Chairman Krzysztof Grzesik awarded the the Faculté des sciences de l'administration (FSA ULaval), Université Laval (Québec) and the Real Estate Division, Sauder School of Business, the University of British Columbia the status of TEGoVA Recognised Academic Institution in North America.
This recognition follows from a landmark agreement between TEGoVA and the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC) to mutually recognise the valuation standards and qualifications of each organisation. As ULaval and UBC provide courses leading to the AIC's Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute (AACI) and Canadian Residential Appraiser (CRA) designations, and as these designations are now recognised as equivalent to TEGoVA's Recognised European Valuer (REV) and TEGoVA Residential Valuer (TRV) designations, the two Canadian Universities logically benefit from this development.
In Winnipeg, TEGoVA Chairman Krzysztof Grzesik REV and AIC President Daniel Doucet AACI saluted the Canadian Universities' educational programmes and welcomed their contribution to recognised high level transatlantic valuation qualifications.
