THE BLUE BOOK

The publication of EVS 2016 is the culmination of a journey that started immediately after the last edition was published. The quest for excellence has energised members from many member associations and the endless work of the European Valuation Standards Board (EVSB) has in itself resulted from feedback, commentary, queries and requests for additional information and guidance. It is hoped that the product of this work achieves its aim of enabling the advancement of the valuation profession Trans-Europe, where valuations produced in accordance with these standards provide a consistent quality that can be relied upon - a common benchmark for investors, the financial industry, clients and valuers throughout the European Union and beyond.

John Hockey MSc FRICS IRRV (Hon) REV
